Cool Aunts Club
I started DustyTee Club due to my passion for creating, designing, and most importantly the love for simple fashion. Having this as an outlet for my creative side has been healing. I recently started a new collection called "cool aunts club" which is exactly what I think I am. I am a new aunt to not one but two beautiful nieces. I am a little bit obsessed with them and will buy anything and everything for them over things for myself. I wanted to create a collection that would encourage those "cool aunts" to match with their nieces and nephews. Spoil yourself and your little bestie.
My Journey to Launching DustyTee Club
DustyTee Club began as an idea scribbled in the corner of a notebook. I’ve always loved fashion and storytelling, and I saw an opportunity to merge the two by creating themed apparel that resonates deeply with people. The idea wasn’t just about clothing—it was about creating something personal, something meaningful that connects people to shared identities and experiences.
Starting this journey was both exciting and overwhelming. I had no experience in production or running a business, so I had to learn everything from scratch. From sourcing quality materials to understanding the intricacies of social media marketing, each step was a learning curve. I spent countless nights researching the best suppliers, brainstorming designs, and figuring out how to reach an audience that would love what I was creating.
One of the most challenging parts was staying true to my vision while navigating the realities of running a business. It’s tempting to cut corners or follow trends, but I wanted DustyTee Club to be authentic. Every design and every theme reflects something close to my heart. For example, the Cool Aunts Club drop was inspired by the amazing aunts in my life who have been mentors, friends, and sources of endless love.
Despite the challenges, the journey has been incredibly rewarding. Seeing customers connect with the designs and hearing their stories of why they relate to a particular theme makes it all worthwhile. DustyTee Club is more than just a business—it’s a community, and I’m so proud to be building it.
